FROM THE ARTIST:  Late one fall I was in Yellowstone and stopped to see the hourly blast of steam we call Old Faithful.  It was nearly empty except for a family of simply dressed people that I at first thought were Amish.  The thought of an Amish family riding through the park in a horse and buggy made me smile, and that's how this painting was born.  NOTE:  Back in the studio, I learned that these were actually known as Hutterites, and that they most likely has very nice dark colored SUVs carrying them through the National Parks.
